The courts will be locked at all times, each member will have a numbered key.
Reserved Court Times
The tennis courts are reserved for adult tennis members Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9:00am until 12:00pm. They are also so reserved on statutory holidays and the first Monday in August Tennis is open to all those who come; games will be doubles if the courts are full, ‘American’ if there are three available to play on one court.
As a provisional rule, with the objective of encouraging new memberships, adult guests of tennis members and adult non-members may also participate at these times. The rule may be modified or withdrawn if in the judgement of the tennis committee the presence of guests and non-members prevents full or family members from using the courts at these reserved times, or that this privilege is obviously being abused.
A Junior player may play Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday morning only if he/she is with an adult tennis member and if the junior is not taking the place of an adult member waiting to play.
Junior players may play anyday between 12 and 5pm.
The courts are reserved for junior members from 9am to 12pm on Wednesday mornings.
Junior members ages 6 to 10 years old must be supervised by an adult while playing tennis. The courts are to be used only for playing tennis.
Proper tennis clothing and proper tennis shoes must be worn while playing on the courts.
Sport shoes with black marking soles are not permitted.
Guest of Tennis Members
The name of the guest and the introducing tennis member must be entered into the guest book at the reception desk of the clubhouse before the guest plays on the court.
A guest fee of must be paid at the clubhouse BEFORE the guest plays on the court. Upon payment, the guest will receive a receipt confirming payment and the date he/she paid to play.
The hosting tennis member must be present at the tennis court while his/her guest is playing.
The same individual may play as a guest a maximum of 6 times per tennis season.
Guests of tennis members are welcome to play in the Round Robin events. They are also eligible to win a prize should they win in a Round Robin event. Each participating guest must pay:
The member-guest fee at the clubhouse BEFORE playing in the event, as well as paying
the Round Robin fee at the tennis court the morning of the event.
The courts are open to non members from 12pm to 5pm for a fee of $10.00 per person which must be paid at the club house before playing.
Upon payment of the fee the non-member will receive a receipt confirming payment.
In the tennis club ledger at the Reception Desk of the club house, the non member must write his/her full name, signature, the date to be played, the amount paid and his/her telephone number BEFORE he/she plays on the court.
A key to the courts may be obtained from the office by paying a refundable deposit of $30.00
Non-members can play a maximum of six times per season.
Members may book courts online, or at the Reception Desk at the club house.
The maximum court booking time is 60 minutes for doubles or singles. Two consecutive times may be booked for tournament matches.
A court may be booked one week in advance.
If a booked court is not claimed within ten minutes of the stated time, it is considered vacant.
Bookings are available at any time except those reserved for open tennis for adult or junior members, or times reserved for club tournaments or club authorized tennis lessons.
Only one name should be listed on the booking sheet. Two singles players may not book consecutive times using different names. Equally, two players in the same foursome may not book consecutive times.
Dogs are not allowed on the tennis courts/tennis premises.
Please report any problems with the lights to the tennis director who will then contact the club manager.
