SUMMARY:Horse Race Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to the final event of our golf calendar\, the annual Horse Race\, happening on Sunday\, October 20\, 2024. This fun and competitive event\, typically held after Thanksgiving\, is open to both men and women. \nFor many years\, this event has been expertly run by Don Wilmer\, and we’re delighted that he has once again agreed to organize it for us this year. \nHere’s how the event will run: \n\nAll participants will play an initial 9 holes.\nThe top 5 players from this round will advance\, while the whole group enjoys a well-deserved lunch break.\nThe final 5 will continue by playing holes 9\, 1\, 2\, and 3.\nAt each hole\, the player with the worst score will be eliminated\, until only 2 players remain to battle it out on the 3rd hole.\nJust like in a horse race\, the player who triumphs on the final hole will be declared the winner!\n\nIf you’re interested in participating\, please sign up in the foyer or notify Don by email by Thursday\, October 17. \nWhether you’re playing or cheering on your fellow members\, it’s always a great way to wrap up the season and enjoy a day on the course. \nWe hope to see you there!
