Seeking a Full-Time Bilingual Manager

The Club is searching for a Manager of Operations.  This could be a hospitality expert who has a strong knowledge of golf.  The successful candidate will be expected to lead the small Club House team and work in cooperation with the full-time Superintendent. As the ‘face of the Club’ ensure excellent customer service to members and guests providing a memorable positive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the golf Club and restaurant, ensuring smooth functioning and high
    service standards.
  • Manage within the approved budget, generate revenue and provide regular financial reporting.
  • Inventory management.
  • Recruit, hire and train and mentor seasonal staff in Club House and restaurant.
  • Plan and deliver member and guest events.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal regulations.
  • Oversee clubhouse cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Work effectively with the Board of Directors, committees, Superintendent, and the surrounding
    community.

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary education preferably in golf management or hospitality

  • Leadership experience in a similar role within the golf or hospitality industry

  • Knowledge of the game of golf

  • Proven strong written and oral communication

  • Experience reporting to a Board of Directors or Ownership group

  • Experience in the food and beverage industry

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAGE, and relevant golf business technology (e.g Lightspeed, Chronogolf, POS etc.)

  • Proficient in English and French language

  • Eligible to work in Canada full-time.

Compensation

The successful applicant will receive a compensation package commensurate with experience. The Base Salary range will be from $65,000-75,000 per annum plus potential for performance-based bonus. Benefits/Perks to be discussed.
